A little bit about us...

TJ

TJ was born in NJ and moved to Florida with his family when he was 10 years old. When most kids were playing with toys, TJ was hammering nails and tearing apart the family lawnmower. This aptitude for all things mechanical makes him  perfectly suited to life on the road and the constant repair work that is required. He’s happiest outdoors and enjoys hiking, mountain biking, off-roading, and fishing. Prior to hitting the road, he worked in the large format print industry for over 20 years.

Bri

Bri was born in South Florida and raised in a small town in Central Florida. Being the only girl surrounded by a family of boys, she grew up learning how to throw a punch and climb a tree. For as long as she can remember she has loved horses and spent her childhood riding her chestnut Arabian mare, Rosie, all through the rolling countryside. She loves animals, spending time in nature, has recently rekindled her love for reading, and of course traveling! Prior to hitting the road, she worked in various forms of sales.

Our Crew

Otherwise known as her majesty, Madley is a Brittany. One smart pup, she has many AKC titles in conformation, obedience, agility and hunting. She loves gypsum sand dunes, sun bathing, running on the beach, hunting birds and FOOD!! It’s said she’ll solve an algebra problem for a treat. At times a love bug and other times aloof, she identifies as a cat.

The court jester in the group, Brodie is a Springer Spaniel. What he lacks in smarts he more than makes up for in charm and good looks. He loves his girl Madley, long walks, chasing the ball and has a fetish for ear grooming. Gentle and kind hearted, this goof ball just wants to be with his people. He is the quintessential man’s best friend.

Being a man of extra toes and because all Hemingway Cats are named after celebrities, meet the captivating Jack Nicholson. Not one to mask his unusual desires, he thoroughly enjoys curling up with a stinky shoe and perusing ladies handbags. This handsome guy has never met a stranger and will demand your attention if you visit his couch.

How we get around

An unconventional tow vehicle to say the least, our van has enough stage presence that it’s offended it’s not the headliner of this page. Affectionately known as the beast, big bertha and the white whale, she gets the job done and commands attention while doing it. Everything you could ever want to know about our van you’ll find in the video below…
An ugly duckling when we bought her, a makeover was in her future…

Now capable of taking us down the road less traveled and look good while doing it
When we first started shopping for RVs the sales person told us you’re either an Airstream person or you’re not. It didn’t take long for us to figure out we’re Airstream people. Exceptional build quality, sleek modern design, this iconic gal is the beauty to van’s beast. We haven’t done a video on the Airstream yet, but when we do this is where you’ll find it. In the meantime, here are some of the places she’s housed us in comfort and style…

The rolling green hills of VA wine country
